We’d love you to join us. For five days, starting on Monday (12th May), we’ll be choosing a different focus as we pray for young people and education, media, relationships and more. We believe that this is a vital - if not the most vital - aspect of youth ministry, and so as we move towards a gathering at which we’ll think about new ideas, we want to start by uniting our focus on the God in whom all our work is rooted.

Each day we take a different theme for our prayers - they’re listed below. We won’t harrass you to be involved, but we will gently encourage you to join us each day. There will be a short post on this website about each theme, with some suggested prayer points, and we’ll be putting reminders out through social media. If you’re praying, why not tweet your reflections, prayers and prayer requests using the hashtag #prayforyouth.

Perhaps you could make a note in your diary now to spend a few minutes each day in prayer.

Join us as we pray for:

Monday 12th May - Education and schools

Tuesday 13th - Young people and mental health

Wednesday 14th - Sex and relationships

Thursday 15th - Young people finding faith, church and discipleship

Friday 16th - New vision, fresh ideas, better ways forward for youth ministry

Then on Saturday 17th May, as we meet together for the Summit, we’d ask you to invite your young people to gather together in your absence and pray for us - the youth workers of the UK.

Please, consider joining us as we pray. We can’t think of a better or more appropriate way to count down to this year’s event.
