As an introduction to the Bible, the sessions are detailed enough to hold attention, and cater for a mixture of learning styles - but would need a few major alterations to be relevant for unchurched young people. The rather childlike appearance could be critiqued; with parallels drawn to some amateur Windows Movie Maker projects, perhaps better suited for a slightly younger audience (I think 15 is ambitious). However, with animations and a host of different activities included within each of the sessions, Navigate is a useful resource thanks largely to its flexibility, which enables the course to be delivered across the vast spectrum of church-based youth groups.
Navigate is good value for money (a free PDF online and £2.50 for the DVD) and a viable option for most youth workers wanting to engage younger teenagers with the Bible.
