How we can support young carers in isolation

I am a support worker for young carers aged five to 18 who look after their disabled, ill or addicted family members. It’s my job to ensure they are coping with what they are going through. I might give them a call to see how they’re doing, take them out and about – anything to give them the kind of normality that they lack. Right now, it’s proving difficult.
