Musicademy is a music school that produces tutorial DVDs for all elements of a contemporary worship band. DVDs come in three ability levels, taking students from beginner level to advanced in the instrument of their choice. Tutors include Kate Silbur from Nexus Christian music school and former Soul Survivor bassist Matt Weeks. Their website hosts a frequently updated blog covering topics of all aspects of music ministry and includes free online lessons.
WORSHIP CENTRAL
Worship Central is a school of worship from Alpha International. Led by Tim Hughes & Al Gordon, Worship Central runs conferences across the globe, seeking to ‘encounter God, equip the worship and empower the local church’. To this end their website is an online Aladdin’s cave of worship resource wonders, showcasing new worship songs, providing chord sheets and hosting a podcast, all while maintaining a lively blog and forum.

Nexus is a Christian music school based in Coventry running year-long courses in drums, guitar, vocals, bass, keyboards and live sound engineering. Topics include live performance, technique, theory, styles, pursuit of worship, studio, song-writing and music technology. All courses are taught by experienced musicians and tutors, and make use of state-of-the-art facilities. Alongside the practical training, Nexus provides biblical teaching in both classroom and small-group settings.

LONDON SCHOOL OF THEOLOGY
London School of Theology run two worship-based courses at CertHE, Diploma and BA Honours level. The Theology, Music and Worship provides strong theological training alongside rigorous musical investment. Meanwhile, the new Theology and Worship programme runs two pathways, one for those with musical skills but limited experience, and another for those interested in non-musical forms of corporate worship. Excellent tutors and unique curriculum mean these courses are the only of their kind in Europe.
