Becca Willett from St Alban’s, Fulham was named Youth Worker of the Year. She said that it was really unexpected but a huge privilege, adding: “There are so many youth workers who can feel isolated and undervalued. My prayer is that they feel really celebrated as well.”
Jenny Hubball from Chellaston Methodist Church was awarded Young Leader of the Year.
Volunteer of the Year was awarded to Chris Haddon who has been serving at the Hub in Halesowen for seven years.
Stroud youth work organisation The Door took home the award for Best Youth Work Employer.
Diverse Church won Most Innovative Youth Work for work supporting young LGBT+ Christians.
Best Youth Work Resource was given to Children’s Society’s ‘Seriously awkward’, which tackles big issues. from a Christian perspective.
