Halloween isn’t really much an issue for me. I grew up with the odd bit of trick or treating and I don’t think my felt pointy hat has done any lasting damage. I don’t think we need to dogmatically throw the baby out with the bathwater. If nothing else, refusing to engage with the second largest festival of the year just makes us like scaredy cats. And frankly a little bit silly.
